Long before the Benjamin Franklin Commemorative Silver Dollars of 2006 and the many different Silver Medals that the Mint has issued was this. This is a 1oz Silver Commemorative Medal struck in Philadelphia Honoring Franklin as Organizer of Our First Fire Service in 1736.
These medals were struck in both Proof and Uncirculated versions with the Mint State one being the hardest to find.
