This set includes a 1 oz piece struck from. 999 fine silver and with a mintage of 2,500 and a cupro-nickel piece struck at the same diameter as a US cent, which gives collectors the chance to see it as it would have appeared. Saint-Gaudens's obverse features a left-side portrait of Liberty. He renders her wearing a laurel wreath, a symbol of the goddess Victory, on whom he modeled her.
